Execution with a difference

To work with us, be committed to live deliberately, live deep and suck all of the marrow out of life. Consistently explore and expand exceptional and extraordinary. Penetrate deep into the cavity of the human experience. Foster meaningful intercourse in relationships. Be what you want to become.

Execution is more than just taking action. It's taking exceptional action!

But what is that, "exceptional action"?

Action that disrupts the status quo

It's unusual, not typical, unexpected by the mainstream. It's the kind of action that can disrupt the status quo. Action that impacts many degrees beyond the initial interaction or transaction. It's action that creates exceptional experiences for both your clients or customers and your staff.

No matter what business you're in, whether you provide a product, service or both, you are in the business of giving experiences. Your clients and customers, and your staff, attach meaning to every experience they have with your business. The meaning they attach determines how they feel about your company, and that feeling in turn produces in each individually the physical evidence (the experience) of the meaning they originally attached, solidifying their thoughts and eventually transforming them into beliefs about the kind of company you are.

All the world's a stage for sure, and you, your clients and customers and your staff are some of the cast. Your ability to direct the scene is determined by how you do what you do to begin with, and most importantly how you respond to every interaction. To direct well and create something exceptional, you start by breaking each scene down into the individual processes. And then you ask yourself a question!

Are you thinking small enough?

Being an exceptional business

Isn't about thinking big. It's about thinking small enough.

Are you thinking small enough?

It takes millions of pixels to make a picture.

It takes a village to raise a child.

Everyone contributes to the common goal.

It takes a team to grow a business.

Everyone has a role to play.

Life and business are both a process of experiences.

Every business runs on processes.

Those processes shape the experiences of your customers and your staff.

But are your processes built on purpose?

Or do they just happen?

Most owners want to transform their business.

To transform your business, transform your processes.

But how?

Most never know where to start.

Some get overwhelmed and lose the way forward.

Focus blurs.

Progress stops.

And the business slides back to its old ways.

Where do you start?

Start small.

Transform a single process.

Make it exceptional.

Then do it again.

If transforming your results is a priority, start small.

And start with one conversation.

We work with a small number of businesses, and we choose them with care.

If this is you, you know where to find us.

It takes a lot of small things to grow and scale a business!

The same small things drive it toward a strategic exit. It's not complex, just sometimes comprehensive, and mostly common sense. The type of business owners we work with know this already!

Business (and) life is a process of experiences now.

The meaning, or lack of meaning, we give experiences and how we respond determines the quality of what comes next.

Same goes for your customers.

We execute the way we live

The commitment we open with, to live deliberately and suck the marrow out of life, isn't ours. We borrowed it from Thoreau, who said it first, and best:

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms.
Henry David Thoreau
